Welcome to the w3tre's homepage. W3tre is a new web servers statistics tool.

Concept

W3tre isn't a statistics viewer. You shouldn't find here anything to display any statistics results. Unlike a lot of known web servers statistics tools, w3tre let this task to an other independant and specific component. W3tre proposes just an API in the common web server languages to interact with the produced statistics.

The main idea is to develop a web servers statistics tool in a pseudo Model View Controler (MVC) architecture. Indeed, today, it seems very difficult to integrate easily an existing statistics viewer in a web site without a dangerous modification of the used statistics tool.

Why?

Because known web servers statistics tools are so linked with their build-in statistics viewer.
